* Listen to SpiritStars.mp3 * / Listen to Indian Vibe Mix .mp3 He says: I believe in embracing the future. The speed of progress is increasing, and with it comes ways of creating music that we never dreamed. My laptop gives me power and flexibility. It takes over the repetitive parts of DJing, freeing me up to explore other creative musical aspects. It is just a tool. What's ultimately most important is the music, and the reaction of the crowd. I've always been a music lover, from Van Halen, to Bauhaus, to Nirvana, to Nine Inch Nails, and now to the electronic dance scene. I played guitar almost every day for over ten years. I remember playing by bass in bands and being critical of DJs, because they weren't playing their own music, they were playing somebody else's. What's the fun in that? Well, it's the same feeling as playing in a band on stage, it's the crowds' energy and response. Positive feedback that you can feel :-) I have produced an album (electronic meets hip-hop) with Todd Henry on vocals. I created all the music, played all instruments and edited it on my computer. A handful of songs were used on an extreme mountain biking DVD from SolidFoto.com. I've also recorded demos for the bands I've been in (Squareface, The Collective). I've been musically active for a long time... DJing is just another way to explore the power of music.
